The Peaceful Kids program is a mindfulness and positive psychology-based small group program for children. Children learn skills to lessen anxiety and stress, and increase their emotional resilience. Sessions include learning a range of mindfulness strategies and meditations, effective coping strategies, and positive psychology exercises. By practicing these skills over the 8-week program, children become better equipped to deal with the day-to-day stresses that life brings them. Parental involvement is required, with a commitment to support the strategies at home.
